 We need 75 people at the General Booster Meeting tomorrow (1/21/20).  6:30 PM in the LMC. 

 If we hit 75 people we can earn $500...but this is an all or nothing, so we hope you can work out your plans to make it.

·         Jan 21, 28 Pep Band Double Header games

·        Jan 21  – General Booster Meeting 6:30 PM

o   We need 75 people in attendance to earn $500 in free money from the mattress company.  Please try to come to this meeting! 

·         Jan 22 -  Dion’s Restaurant Night – cancelled

·         Feb 4 – Colorado Springs Pies and Grinders   Restaurant  night 4PM – 10PM

·         Feb 11 – Future Lancer’s Concert with Wind Ensemble

·         Feb 13 – Symphonic, Concert Band 1 & 2 Concert

·         Feb 14 – Jazz Dinner Dance –  6 PM dinner , 7 - 8:30 PM desserts, dance, and silent auction

o   Donations needed for the silent auction – sign up here

o   Dinner Tickets available starting Monday January 20^th – February 7^th at liberty.band

o   Dinner ($20/person)  catered by Bonefish grill – wood-grilled chicken with choice of 2 sauces, garlic whipped potatoes, and steamed veggie ( kids meal ($10/person)         available for those under 12) 

o   Dessert only option for $5/ person

·        Get the word out…Liberty Jazz bands are holding an exciting fundraising event to earn money to go to Greeley jazz festival in April!!!

• Need a romantic idea for Valentine’s dinner?  Look no further than the Jazz dinner dance…just think a nice dinner catered by Bonefish grill served by our awesome Jazz students, later an assortment of desserts and live jazz music performed by the Liberty Jazz Bands..  Doesn’t that sound so much better than waiting on a long wait list in a crowded restaurant?   You bet!  And we hope to see you there.   Fill out our google form to reserve your spot starting Monday!      Flyer attached

Announcements…           

• Liberty is hosting Color Guard workshops this semester for any students looking to join LHS color guard/marching band in the fall or winter season next year and would like to learn new skills and enhance established skills through choreography, equipment, and more. No previous experience necessary! Seniors may also participate. Meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:30-5:30 pm in the LHS Commons starting on Tuesday, January 21st. There is no cost. Interested participants should fill out the Google Form found on the Liberty Bands webpage (liberty.band) by Friday, January 17th. Please see Ms. Romero in the Band room or email sarah.romero@asd20.org if you have any questions.

Mayzie will be placing one last physical card Scrip order before break this Friday 12/13. This is only for orders placed on the Scrip website by noon on Friday - since I do not want to disturb classes in session, I will not be accepting orders in the Red Mailbox this time.

Orders should be available no later than 12/19.
