Good Evening Band Parents,
You, your student, and your family are invited Swingin' Sweets this coming this Friday, November 8th 7-9 PM at Fellowship Bible Church. If you have never been, it is a fun evening on desserts, coffee, lemonade, and Jazz music by our very own Liberty Jazz Bands. It is open to the general public, not just those involved in the Jazz band. It is a wonderful evening for all the family and a great place to invite friends young and old. We really would love to see you there. The cost per ticket is $10 for adult and $7 for students (grade 12 and below).
New this year - a dessert auction! Pies, Cakes, and yummy desserts to take home will be auctioned at several points during the evening. We have a real treat to have an auctioneer with over 50 years of experience donate his time to be with us.. It should be a lot of fun!

This event is a fundraiser for the Jazz bands at Liberty High School. They are raising money to go to the Greeley Jazz Festival at the University of Northern Colorado in April. Every year the festival is a great opportunity for the jazz bands to play for judges, listen to other high school jazz bands and attend seminars. Each year they also get to attend a jazz concert by a nationally acclaimed band. It is a definite highlight of the jazz bands year.
As always we need help running a fundraiser of this size. Jazz parents, this event directly helps your student, please consider picking a slot most convenient for you to sign up. Other band parents, we'd love your help as well as many hands make light work and enjoyable evening for all. Thank you in advance!

Thank you to all those who have signed up to donate an auction item (either on the bulletin board, or on the signup genius)! Please bring your item to Fellowship Bible Church at 6 PM and fill out an auction card with the description/or interesting tidbit of your item. If you are unable to drop off at the church, please follow the directions given to your student by Ms. Romero/Ms. Harm. They will also be asked to fill out an auction card. (If you are sending a dessert with your student please have them prepared to fill out the card). I believe we have close to 40 desserts to auction off so this is going to be so exciting, thanks to your generosity.

Please read this!! and A look ahead (10.13.19)
Liberty Band Parents,
We need your help on Wednesday at regionals. Let me keep it simple and break it down,
- Currently we have approximately
- 90 slots left to fill (many evening shifts) Including Bus Attendant and Concessions and many more.
- 55 families filling 132 slots, (thank you to those who already signed up)
- 13 alumni parents filling 22 slots (so cool to have alumni take the day off and help us out -- they continue to want to see the success of this program)
- 32 students filling slots
- This fundraiser benefits
- ALL bands at Liberty
- helps purchase things like Music and much more for our concert bands, jazz bands as well as the marching band.
- Volunteer Training Meeting is tomorrow Monday at 6:30 PM
- Donations drop off is at 6:00 PM before the meeting
- We are known as the "sea of red" in the bleachers but ....on this day the "sea of red" is wearing our red shirts throughout this event...from selling tickets, in the concession stand, moving the bands, giving out water, in the parking lots, and everywhere...let's show some of Liberty Lancer Pride we are known for.

We ask that every marching student fill out this form link below, so we can account for their meal choices during the St. Louis trip. Deadline to complete this form is Oct 8th at MIDNIGHT. Food will be ordered on Oct 9th and changes will not be possible. If this form is not filled out for your student by the deadline, option 1 for all meals will be the default. Staff, Chaperones, and truck drivers please fill this out as well.
