Hello Band Families,
The Jazz Dinner Dance is quickly approaching!  Friday February 14th.  It will be an awesome evening to enjoy listening to the Liberty Jazz Bands with a dinner catered by Bonefish Grill! Tickets can be purchased until 2/7 using this google form below.  Make your Valentine's Date Now !!

We are still in need of MANY items to fill the silent auction baskets.  You can donate a single item, or an entire basket.  We are also looking for a few volunteers to help assemble the baskets in early February.  We also need new basket assemblers to take over for next year.  Sign up now to see all the fun you can have.  Please click on the link below to check out the donation list:

·         Feb 6-8 - All State Orchestra

·         Feb 4 – Pep Band - Boys BB  

·         Feb 11 – Future Lancer’s Concert with Wind Ensemble

·         Feb 13 – Symphonic, Concert Band 1 & 2 Concert

·         Feb 14 – Jazz Dinner Dance –  6 PM dinner , 7 - 8:30 PM desserts, dance, and silent auction

• Need a romantic idea for Valentine’s dinner?  Look no further than the Jazz dinner dance…just think a nice dinner catered by Bonefish grill served by our awesome Jazz students, later an assortment of desserts and live jazz music performed by the Liberty Jazz Bands..  Doesn’t that sound so much better than waiting on a long wait list in a crowded restaurant?   You bet!  And we hope to see you there.   Fill out our google form to reserve your spot starting Monday!      Flyer attached

 We need 75 people at the General Booster Meeting tomorrow (1/21/20).  6:30 PM in the LMC. 

 If we hit 75 people we can earn $500...but this is an all or nothing, so we hope you can work out your plans to make it.

o   We need 75 people in attendance to earn $500 in free money from the mattress company.  Please try to come to this meeting!

Announcements…           

• Liberty is hosting Color Guard workshops this semester for any students looking to join LHS color guard/marching band in the fall or winter season next year and would like to learn new skills and enhance established skills through choreography, equipment, and more. No previous experience necessary! Seniors may also participate. Meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:30-5:30 pm in the LHS Commons starting on Tuesday, January 21st. There is no cost. Interested participants should fill out the Google Form found on the Liberty Bands webpage (liberty.band) by Friday, January 17th. Please see Ms. Romero in the Band room or email sarah.romero@asd20.org if you have any questions.
