Band Blast 11-3-17

Hello band families we have many wonderful things happening in our band world. Please read every thing and volunteer and or attend all of these wonderful events!!!


Scrip--
Due to Fall Break there will only be one order in November.  Scrip is a great way to give or pay for gifts for the holidays and earn money for your student accounts.  Black Friday shopping? Be sure to stock up on gift cards for the places you plan to shop.  The next Scrip order due date will be Tuesday, November 7.  Orders must be submitted online by 8PM or dropped of in the red mailbox by the end of  the school day on Tuesday, November 7.  For more information on the Scrip program click Liberty.Band Scrip or contact Shawna Shepherd at Shawna@swiftluna.com.  For a list of retailers and current promotions please click ShopWithScrip  Orders placed on November 7 will be available for pick up in the band room after school on Friday, November 10.

MARCHING BAND BANQUET
 Today is our marching band banquet.  If you purchased tickets, dinner starts a 6:30.  Awards start at 7:30 and you do not need a ticket to attend awards.

JAZZ DINER DANCE (help needed, silent auction baskets, tickets)
Our Annual Jazz Dinner Dance with Pasta Dinner and Silent Auction will be held on Friday, November 10, 2017. Dinner is served from 6-7 pm and Dancing is from 7-9 pm at Woodman Valley Chapel (The Heights), 8292 Woodmen Valley View Colorado Springs 80908 We need your support.   We could use help in one of these areas.

FUNDRAISING
HELP NEEDED DECA has been more than generous to offer us a fundraising opportunity to run their concession stand during the craft fair (Nov 11) while they are out of town.  We will adult and student volunteers.  Students can earn volunteer hours.   You can sign up here. www.SignUpGenius.com/go/10C044DAFA728A0FF2-concessions

Dont forget....
Fundraising items will be available today, Friday, November 3 from 2:45-3:30pm.  If you child sold items from the Cup Fundraiser OR the Believe catalogue, PLEASE make sure they pick up their fundraising items at this time
