For those of you new to this, hosting the Southern Regional Competition is one of our biggest fundraisers.   It is one we hope to do a good job at so they ask us to do it again.     We are asking that you please, please consider contributing in someway to this day as it is a huge operation.  This is a day where many of our parents take off all or part of the day to help.  I promise it is a lot of fun, that you get to see just how these complex competitions are run, and a wonderful way to show the Southern Colorado band world how well we work together as a Liberty Band organization.  

If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask.  We can't thank you enough for your help with this.  We look forward to seeing you on Wednesday Oct18th!

Marching Band Blast September 13, 2017

Hello Marching band families,

• Thank-you for all that have participated in the Entertainment book fundraiser, we are just finishing up a few details and then we will be able to close the sale and get money into the student accounts! 
• 
  
• March a thon is coming Sept 23rd! We are accepting donations for give aways. If you would like to donate low cost gift cards to teenage friendly places you can put them in the red mailbox labeled march a thon. ($5 -$10) Starbucks, Chipotle, Chick fil a, Village Inn, I tunes are a few suggestions.
• 
  
• Concert Uniform pick up for Wind Ensemble and Symphonic bands will be Friday September 15 after school, for those who are renting their dresses. If you have purchased a dress please remember to email the booster account so that your child will not be charged for a rental.  
• 
  
• The next Scrip order due date will be Tuesday, September 19.  Orders must be submitted online by 8PM or dropped of in the red mailbox by the end of  the school day on Tuesday, September 19.  For more information on the Scrip program click Liberty.Band Scripor contact Shawna Shepherd at Shawna@swiftluna.com.  For a list of retailers and current promotions please click ShopWithScrip  Orders placed on September 19 will be available for pick up in the band room after school on Friday, September 22. The next order dates will be October 3 & 17.

• Reminder tomorrow kids need to be in formation at 6:30 pm ready to play (full uniform) for LHS's homecoming football game. Come visit the band boosters at Tailgate before the game, we will be selling ice cream sandwich and light up glasses. There will be several other clubs and activities selling yummy foods. 
• 
  
• Also, due to homecoming being on a Thurs, the marching band will have rehearsal on Friday.
